This section contains all the materials you need to present the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium, including the Presenter’s Manual below, and the tabs above to the right containing downloadable video files, Symposium handouts, adapted symposiums and a starter Presenter’s Kit for those who want to learn to deliver the symposium.

The Latest Symposium

Version 2.5, released November 2011, has integrated extensive facilitator and participant feedback on Version 2, resulting in the most powerful symposium experience yet. V2.5 features:

• An enhanced focus on social justice, with new video and interviews that illuminate the social institutions that perpetuate injustice;
• Modified video segments throughout, enabling presenters to adapt the length of their symposiums;
• Clearer and more straightforward tools, resources, and guidance for getting into action after the symposium.

Presenter’s Manual, V2.5

The  Manual has everything you need to present the Symposium, including a script, activity outlines, video transcripts and tips. The manual also provides guidance on timings, so you can deliver anything from a 2 – 5 hour symposium.

Two-Hour Adaptation

In response to the request from the community, a two-hour symposium guide has been created. The draft Two-Hour Presenter’s Manual posted here still needs to be broadly tested. In the interim, please feel free to use it and give us your feedback on how it could be improved.
